Mayland Heights sits in Calgary’s northeast, tucked between Deerfoot Trail, Memorial Drive, Barlow Trail, and 16 Avenue NE. Originally known as Crossroads and established as a community in 1962, it occupies one of the more practical positions in the city: close to downtown, close to the airport, close to major roadways, and elevated enough in parts to offer some of Calgary’s best skyline and mountain views.

This is a mature community in the truest sense. The homes, streets, trees, and lots have had decades to settle in. Much of the housing stock includes 1960s-era bungalows, townhomes, and low-rise condos, which gives buyers a wide range of options compared with many inner-city neighbourhoods where prices have already pushed out a large portion of the market.
